Terms of use

1. Agreement

These terms are a contract between you and FlossPixel (Singapore) covering your use of flosspixel.com and the FlossPixel pattern maker (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

FlossPixel converts images and text prompts into cross stitch charts. Direct conversion is provided free and runs in your browser. Optional AI features are provided in exchange for credits. We may change, add or remove features at any time; the free direct converter will remain free for personal and commercial use.

3. Accounts

You need an account only to purchase and use AI credits. You must be at least 18, or have parental consent, and must provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials confidential.

4. Credits and payment

Credits are prepaid units used for AI features. Credit pack prices are shown before purchase and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Credits do not expire, are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Refunds are governed by our Refund policy. If a generation fails on our side, the credits for it are returned automatically.

5. Your content and rights

You keep all rights to the photos, prompts and patterns you create with the Service. We claim no ownership of them. You may use exported patterns for any lawful purpose, including selling finished pieces, pattern kits and printed charts, with no licence fee to us. For AI features only, you grant us and the relevant model provider a limited licence to process your input for the purpose of generating your result.

6. Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the right to use any photo you load into the Service. You must not use the Service to create material that infringes another person's copyright, trademark or likeness rights, that is unlawful, or that depicts minors in a sexual manner. You must not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload or interfere with the Service, or resell access to it.

7. AI output

AI-generated designs are produced by third-party models and may be imperfect, may resemble other works, and are not reviewed by us. You are responsible for checking that any AI output is suitable for your intended use, including any commercial use.

8. Independence

FlossPixel is an independent company. Shade numbers used in the Service are FlossPixel's own reference codes. FlossPixel is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any thread or fabric manufacturer, and any third-party names that may appear are the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of colour matching. Screen colours differ from physical thread; verify colours against real skeins before committing to a large project.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, FlossPixel will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or SGD 50 if you paid nothing.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service or close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Unused credits on an account terminated for breach are forfeited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection you enjoy in your country of residence.

13. Changes and contact
